Request for Feedback

Hello [NAME]

I've listed the features that are under consideration for the next release of AeroPalm.  If you like the feature you can vote for it, and you can vote for as many of the features as you want to. The features with the most votes will be our priority for next release scheduled for Late fall.

To vote, simply Place an X in the vote line.

Thanks in advance for your feedback!

Kind Regards

Jon

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Feature: Timers

Vote________

A set of timers (4), both count-down and count-up, with an alarm when a count-down expires.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Feature: Terrain

Vote_______

A major feature, this would show colour-coded terrain on the map in three

modes:

- Normal (all terrain shown)

- Warnings (all terrain, highlighted where it's a danger to your aircraft)

- Warning only (to de-clutter the display)

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Feature: Landing/Holding Pattern

Vote:________

This will overlay a landing or holding pattern around a waypoint, with a specified heading.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Feature: Export flight plan into CoPilot

Vote:________

When you make changes to a flight plan (using the editor), these are lost when you exit AeroPalm. This feature will allow you to save those changes back into CoPilot.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Feature: VNAV Markers

Vote:________

AeroPalm will highlight the part of your leg where the VNAV will occur, using two markers - one at the predicted start of the event, one at the end. The symbology will remind you whether to descend or climb, and to what altitude and at what rate.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Feature: Airspace database on the SD card

Vote:________

This will allow you to use an airspace database from an SD card.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Feature: High Contrast Display

Vote:________

As you may know, in daylight the PDA screen can become difficult to see. This mode would render the screen using very heavy lines at closer zoom levels.

Different colour combinations would also be available.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Feature: Approach Plates

Vote:________

This feature would allow you to overlay an approach plate image into the moving map, to monitor your flight during an approach procedure.  It may also allow you to view the entire plate on your PDA - screen limitations apply, so this would not be a replacement for a real plate.

The feature would be backed by a proper web-based service, so you'd be able to download plates from the website and even from within AeroPalm itself.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Feature: Programmable Keys

Vote:________

You would be able to re-program three buttons of your PDA and the centre button of the 5-way navigator. Each key can be pressed or held, so as to get instant access 8 functions of AeroPalm.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Feature: Airfields in reach

Vote:________

AeroPalm will highlight airfields that your aircraft is capable of gliding into, both on the map and the proximity page.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Feature: Weather

Vote:________

This feature will *not* make the October release - I'd just like to see how interested people are in it.

The aim of the feature is to WX-enable AeroPalm, so you can receive real-time weather reports and show them on the moving map.
